- In the long history of art and culture of the enormous Chinese empire, jade has always had a very special significance. The temperate color of jade represents kindness, and its solidity represents wisdom. Natural jade has appeasing powers that puts the mind in a balanced, harmonized, and calm state. Here at Wellspring, we have chosen 19 emerald jade stones of various sizes from Taiwan’s Central Mountain range in our hot jade stone therapy, which starts with a gentle massage of the pressure points on the head and face to relieve headaches, sleeplessness, and eye fatigue. The jade roller stimulates the face’s circulation and tightness of skin. After the aromatherapy footbath, a foot and calf pressure massage with small jade stones relaxes the muscles and prevents bloating. The height of the session is when heated jade stones are placed strategically on the body to release their energies while the masseuse conducts a specially designed pressure point and Tuina massage to cleanse the body of bad aura.
