Grand Formosa Regent Taipei introduces “Pure Rooms” to Taiwan
For travelers, who want superior indoor air quality, there is another safe and comfortable room alternative. Leading the 5-star hotel market in Taiwan, the Grand Formosa Regent Taipei has implemented PURE Rooms. In cooperation with the U.S.-based PURE Solutions International, PURE Rooms have undergone the a 6-Step Room Conversion Process, which includes cleaning and disinfecting the room air handling unit, removal of bacteria and fungi, air shock treatment to remove any remaining biological materials, application of a protective surface treatment, placement of a Class II-approved, medical air purifier, and installation of protective bedding encasements (anti-allergy and dust mite-proof). Four different room types are represented by the PURE installation at the Regent. Now all guests, especially those with allergies, young children, elderly, or want the highest quality environment and best night’s sleep for their stay, have the option of selecting a PURE Room. The Grand Formosa Regent Taipei is, in fact, the first hotel in Greater China to offer PURE Rooms.

PURE Rooms provide the guest with a comprehensive PURE experience from the outside-in, including a PURE Room door plate, specially selected, PURE music to ease the body and mind, and the pleasant scent of tea tree oil to calm the nerves. A PURE Room certificate, with the latest maintenance date is presented to give guests a peace-of-mind that the room is “current”.
Several Four Seasons hotels in the U.S. have installed PURE Rooms including New York New York in Las Vegas, Chicago’s Park Hyatt Hotel, and San Francisco’s Nikko Hotel. Because of the installation of Pure Rooms, these hotels have increased patronage.
