Following the all-you-can-eat chuck rib sukiyaki and all-you-can-eat chuck boneless short rib shabu-shabu, Mihan brings all-you-can-eat feasts to new heights! From March 12th until April 30th, Mihan presents an all-you-can-eat surf n’turf hot pot feast featuring US chuck boneless short ribs and swimming crab at just NT$1080 per person and available daily only to the first 50 customers to order it. Succulent crab is first steamed to bring out its natural sweetness and the remaining essences create a sensational soup base, which is a perfect complement to the tender US chuck boneless short ribs. This mouth-watering combination is a must for those who enjoy premium quality and taste.

Featuring swimming crab, because of its spotted nature which is similar to that of a cow’s hoof, it is also called “cow hoof crab”. And though many would believe autumn is crab season, crabs available in the spring are coveted because they are scarce and difficult to get with springtime crabs being richer. Swimming crab meat is finer than most crab meat with a richer and fresher taste; simply by flavoring with Japanese ginger sauce or Mihan’s special sauce, you can taste its brilliant flavor. And to ensure you the freshest quality and taste, Mihan only uses fresh swimming crab, unlike that available in markets which are typically frozen first.

Beyond the unlimited swimming crab and the popular US chuck boneless short ribs though, experience a rare and unique crab steaming technique. Placing the swimming crab in a wooden steamer, it is placed above the hot pot, steamed by the steam produced by the hot pot. After becoming a nice red hue, a special Japanese ginger sauce is applied to allow the crabmeat to become juicier and more tender; additionally, since the crab essences drip into the shabu-shabu seaweed broth, the broth becomes even more rich and fragrant. When cooking the slices of meat, the US chuck boneless short ribs are even more delicious as they are bathed in sweet crab essences; and for those who prefer the old fashioned-way, the crab may simply be added to the shabu-shabu for another irresistible taste experience.

The all-you-can-eat [Surf n’Turf Hot Pot] set includes Mihan appetizer, seasonal vegetable platter, a rich crab congee made from crab stock, seasonal fruit and nourishing ginger tea. So start the spring season with a feast as bountiful as your year!
