Having the pleasure of featuring French Michelin star chefs, Australian chef-hat rated chefs, and Japanese culinary champions, Grand Formosa this time around has teamed up with chefs from the famed Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in France with Stephane Reinat, expert in more than just desserts, leading classes from March 24th to March 27th at Grand Formosa’s azie grand café. Teaching the classic art of making tasty French bread, each day, 20 lucky participants will go face to face with the international chef and learn the secrets behind one of the world’s most famed French staples. At the same time, azie bun, located on the 1st floor, will have several treats crafted by Reinat so that you can experience what delicious French bread truly tastes like.
The long-standing Le Cordon Bleu institution has given birth to countless internationally recognized culinary masters; therefore it is with great honor that Grand Formosa may have Stephane Reinat, holder of 2 Cordon Bleu certifications, showcase his knowledge and skill in the craft of French bread making. In his younger years, he worked with several famed bakers and learned the art of making bread, and after entering Le Cordon Bleu, was successful in obtaining recognition in baking and desserts after much rigorous competition and training. Afterwards, he went to Paris and worked for a sweets company doing research and development and in 1995, began plans of opening his own bakery. Today, Reinat has 7 bakeries through Provence, France. In 2001 he was hired as Director of the baking union in France as well as the French government baking consultant, and in 2008, his performance landed him a job at Le Cordon Bleu as director of baking. Today, he continues on his culinary career, creating a history of astounding feats and accomplishments.
This time in Taiwan, Reinat will demonstrate his culinary prowess and share his knowledge from March 24th to March 27th at azie grand café. Everyday from 3pm to 4pm, learn the art of French bread from the best.
